Women's Health Nurse Practitioner

Overview

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a skilled and board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed Maternal Fetal Medicine team in a vibrant practice.

Position Highlights:
  • Join a well-established practice with over two decades of service and continuous growth.
  • Work alongside a dedicated team of 7 physicians in a dual office and hospital setting, focusing on high-risk pregnancies.
  • Collaborate with OB Hospitalist and Neonatology teams at a leading women's hospital, equipped with a Level-IV NICU.
  • Participate in a high-risk clinic in partnership with a reputable health organization.
  • Engage in a collaborative environment with OBGYNs, Midwives, and Neonatology professionals to ensure exceptional perinatal care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and care for patients experiencing maternal-fetal conditions, either independently or in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Order and interpret necessary diagnostic evaluations.
  • Engage in patient and family education initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with referring providers and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Occasional travel to satellite clinics and hospitals may be required.
  • Manage a significant volume of patients needing prenatal evaluations for various fetal conditions.
  • Prior experience in obstetrics is highly desirable.
  • A valid Florida medical license is preferred for the ideal candidate.

Qualifications:
  • Current APRN national specialty certification.
  • A minimum of a master's degree in nursing.
  • Experience as a WHNP with a focus on high-risk patients is highly preferred.
