Overview

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a skilled and board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed Maternal Fetal Medicine team.

  • We welcome applications from experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioners or Certified Nurse Midwives to support our team of seven physicians.
  • This role encompasses both clinical office and hospital settings, without direct delivery responsibilities.
  • Our team collaborates closely with the OB Hospitalist and Neonatology teams, ensuring comprehensive care at a leading women's hospital.
  • We also provide coverage for patients at several affiliated hospitals, enhancing our service reach.
  • Our practice includes a high-risk clinic in partnership with a prominent health system.
  • We pride ourselves on our collaborative relationships with OBGYNs, Midwives, and Neonatology professionals to deliver exceptional perinatal care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments, diagnose, and deliver care to patients with maternal-fetal conditions, either independently or in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Order and interpret necessary diagnostic evaluations.
  • Engage in patient and family education initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with referring providers and other members of the patient care team.
  • Occasional travel to satellite clinics and hospitals may be required.
  • Manage a significant volume of patients needing prenatal assessments for various fetal conditions.
  • Prior experience in obstetrics is highly desirable.
  • A valid Florida medical license is preferred for the ideal candidate.

Qualifications:
