About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Designer to join our team at IMEG Corp. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design process for large-scale projects, including the development of detailed design plans and specifications.
  • Oversee a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure that all designs meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines, including architecture, mechanical, electrical, and technology, to ensure that all aspects of the project are properly coordinated.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Ensure that all designs are compliant with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, including mentoring and training.
  • Participate in project meetings and presentations, providing technical expertise and support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related field preferred.
  • At least 11 years of experience in structural design, with a minimum of 5 years in a lead or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans and drawings.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% with occasional overnight stays.
