Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer - PCB Design to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing printed circuit board (PCB) layouts for our cutting-edge products. If you have a strong background in electrical engineering, PCB design, and a passion for innovation, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop PCB layouts for our products, ensuring high-reliability and manufacturability
  • Collaborate with engineers to produce high-quality PCB designs that meet mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing requirements
  • Implement modern design standards and guidelines to create high-reliability, highly manufacturable assemblies
  • Lead the team in establishing internal guidelines for design for manufacturing (DFM) and quality fabrication and assembly outputs
  • Develop and refine team processes for PCB design, part creation, and library/database standards
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple concurrent projects and customers
Requirements
  • 7+ years of professional experience in PCB Layout or Design
  • Full understanding of PCB Layout techniques to meet mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and apply best practices appropriate for each design
  • Ability to determine work priorities based on broad direction from management
  • Expertise in applying relevant IPC standards, CID, CID+ certification
  • Experience using Altium Designer CAD tools
  • Experience with developing component libraries and library management
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with others
  • Ability to work within our company and team culture
  • Must have an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar
Compensation and Benefits
