Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer - PCB Design to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing printed circuit board (PCB) layouts for our cutting-edge products. Key Responsibilities- Design and develop PCB layouts for our products, ensuring high-reliability and manufacturability
- Collaborate with engineers to produce high-quality PCB designs that meet mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing requirements
- Implement modern design standards and guidelines to create high-reliability, highly manufacturable assemblies
- Lead the team in establishing internal guidelines for design for manufacturing (DFM) and quality fabrication and assembly outputs
- Develop and refine team processes for PCB design, part creation, and library/database standards
- Work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple concurrent projects and customers
- 7+ years of professional experience in PCB Layout or Design
- Full understanding of PCB Layout techniques to meet mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing requirements
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and apply best practices appropriate for each design
- Ability to determine work priorities based on broad direction from management
- Expertise in applying relevant IPC standards, CID, CID+ certification
- Experience using Altium Designer CAD tools
- Experience with developing component libraries and library management
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with others
- Ability to work within our company and team culture
- Must have an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar
