Cross Country Allied is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to fill a travel position in the beautiful state of California.

About the Job

This 13-week travel assignment offers the opportunity to work in a hospital setting, utilizing computerized tomography to take medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for CT scans, operating CT equipment, processing images for radiologists and physicians, and maintaining patient records.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality medical images
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Process images for radiologists and physicians, providing accurate and timely results
  • Maintain patient records, adhering to regulatory requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent experience as a CT technologist, with a strong background in diagnostic imaging. AARRT Certification and BLS Certification (AHA) are also required. If applicable, a current state license is necessary.
