Role: Nursing Staff Supervisor

Qualifications:

Required Education:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) must be obtained within 2 years of employment or
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) must be obtained within 2 years of employment.
Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience is necessary.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities.
- Professional demeanor with patients and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations effectively.
- Proficient in current medical technologies and equipment.
- Familiarity with computer applications and systems.
Licensure and Certifications:
- Must possess a valid State of Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Additional Certifications:
- Certification in a specialty clinical area is expected within 2 years.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications may be required based on unit needs.
- Other relevant certifications may be necessary.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent standing, walking, and lifting are required.
- Occasional physical activities may be necessary.
