Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical Unit at UH Elyria Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, prioritizing care based on individual needs and facility policies.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health and wellness.
  • Document patient progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Participate in emergency situations, responding to patient needs with compassion and expertise.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to facility policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with current licensure in good standing.
  • Minimum one year recent experience in medical/surgical nursing, with evidence of current AHA BLS certification.
