Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Women's Unit at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. As a RN in this role, you will provide direct patient care in the Postpartum/Couplet setting, working to provide patients with an individualized care plan through assessment and planning.

Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient's clinical condition, including fetal monitoring and results of diagnostic studies.
  • Perform nursing duties as needed in the continuum of care for all areas of Maternal Child health.
  • Assist physicians with procedures in Postpartum care and the Newborn Nursery.
  • Participate in process improvement efforts and activities for the department.
  • Act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • STABLE must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse in the State of Idaho or Compact RN.
  • Associate or Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support or Advanced Life Support Obstetrics must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
