Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Women's Unit team at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care in the Postpartum/Couplet setting, working to deliver individualized care plans through assessment and planning.

Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care, responding quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient's clinical condition, including fetal monitoring and results of diagnostic studies.
  • Perform nursing duties as needed in the continuum of care for all areas of Maternal Child health, demonstrating an ability to assist physicians with procedures in Postpartum care and the Newborn Nursery.
  • Participate in process improvement efforts and activities for the department, acting in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • STABLE must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse in the State of Idaho or Compact RN.
  • Associate or Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support or Advanced Life Support Obstetrics must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
