About the Role:

Forest Health & Rehab Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver and Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our care staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Compensation:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $19-22 per hour, based on years of experience. In addition to a rewarding salary, we offer a range of benefits, including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, 401K through Fidelity, and paid time off (PTO).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and personal care.
  • Support residents with emotional and social needs, promoting a sense of community and connection.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Requirements:

  • CNA certification in good standing within the applicable laws of the state.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers, and community staff in performance of duties.
  • Ability to observe proper safety and sanitary techniques.
