Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optometrist to lead our team as a Managing Optometrist. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, driving business growth, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability
    • Lead and manage a team of optometrists and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care
    • Collaborate with regional and store managers to achieve business objectives
  • Patient Experience
    • Deliver exceptional patient care and service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer
    • Conduct thorough eye exams and provide personalized recommendations for eyewear and eye care
    • Build strong relationships with patients and their families to establish a loyal customer base
  • Business Operations
    • Manage day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management and staff scheduling
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business growth and improvement
    • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Professional Development
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in optometry and eye care
    • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
    • Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Doctor of Optometry degree
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a retail or healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Knowledge of current optometric technology and practices
