Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist III to join our team at Holy Rosary Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing medical imaging examinations under the direction of a physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician or radiologist.
  • Position and instruct patients regarding x-ray procedures, ensuring clear and undistorted films.
  • Perform x-ray procedures using portable machines as requested by the Emergency Department and nursing units.
  • Process films for radiologists reading and interpretation following established procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare team members, and physicians both in-person and via telephone.
  • Maintain x-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order, ensuring preventative maintenance is performed on a regularly scheduled basis.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Successful completion of an approved radiological training program and the ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required.
  • Current license/certification in the state of practice, required.
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required.
  • At least one (1) year of diagnostic radiology experience, preferred.
