About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Data Coordinator to join our Accounting team. As a key member of our Construction Services Group operations team, you will play a vital role in managing job costs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between project engineers, subcontractors, customers, and the accounting department for all job cost matters.
  • Collect daily foreman timesheets and accurately code labor, equipment, trucking, materials, and quantities into our cost collection system.
  • Collaborate with Project Engineers to ensure that all work is properly coded across various activities.
  • Generate daily performance reports and review them with Project Managers to monitor actual costs against original budgets by cost account.
  • Track and enter monthly owner and subcontractor estimates for approval by the cost accountant.
  • Reconcile and approve invoices for payment to vendors and suppliers.
  • Act as primary backup to the Receptionist, handling incoming phone calls, receiving packages, and signing for parcels as needed.

Requirements:

  • This entry-level position requires a degree in Business or Accounting.
  • Above-average computer skills, specifically knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel, are essential.
  • The ability to assume responsibility, interface, and communicate effectively with others is crucial.

  • An estimated annual salary of $62,000 - $80,000, depending on experience.
