Job Title: Part Time Substance Abuse Counselor

Job Summary:
BAART Programs, a BayMark Health Services company, is seeking a Part Time Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will be responsible for assisting patients through medically assisted programs and providing techniques for handling opioid addiction. You will conduct group sessions and individual sessions to assist with crisis management and coping strategies. Additionally, you will evaluate patients' progress during therapy and collaborate with doctors, nurses, and therapists for patients' therapy and treatment for the best overall outcome.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counseling services; direct service hours at regularly scheduled intervals; coordinate all services throughout treatment
  • Respond, as needed, to patient grievances and complaints
  • Develop aftercare plans and discharge plans
  • Involve families and significant others in patient's recovery process whenever possible
  • Facilitates, establishes and reviews with each patient the initial treatment plan
  • Other related duties as determined by supervisor
Qualifications:
  • Associates and/or Bachelor in Behavioral Sciences
  • Qualifying Utah License - ASUDC, CASUDC, CASUDC-I, SUDC, CSUDC, CSUDC-I, LMHC, CMHC, LPS, LCSW, CSW, SSW or eligible Psychology graduate working towards an SSW license
  • Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen
