Job Description

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles, including oil changes, brake and tire work.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers.
  • Replace defective components and perform facility maintenance duties.
  • Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints and provide solutions.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Vocational or technical certification, post-secondary degree, or technical certifications preferred.
  • Basic tools required.
  • Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
