We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Sales Manager to join our team at Cornerstone Construction. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving market sales performance through motivation, training, coaching, and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:- Meet or exceed company revenue goals for assigned market
- Create and facilitate regular and ad hoc sales trainings
- Plan and host individual and group sales events
- Establish individual and collective goals - weekly, monthly, annual
- Identify and provide individual coaching to project managers regularly and as necessary
- Provide project manager accountability through individual planning and communication
- Coordinate creative incentive events to maintain motivation amongst team
- Assist project managers with sales strategies and quotes
- Assist in recruiting new project managers
- Ensure new hires complete training curriculum within 30 days
- Contribute to quarterly and annual project manager reviews
- Escalate performance and behavioral issues to management
- Advanced knowledge of sales concepts and principles
- Minimum five (5) years relevant work experience
- Proven leadership experience
- Experience training teams
- Ability to motivate
- Expert level sales knowledge
- Knowledge of industry-related practices and processes
- Demonstrated ability to motivate teams to achieve goals
