Product Design Engineer

At DatesWeiser, we are committed to delivering high-quality, sustainable products that meet the needs of our customers. As a Product Design Engineer, you will play a key role in developing innovative furniture designs for the contract industry. Your primary function will be to create 3D models, approval drawings, and other documents required for sourcing and manufacturing of products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop 3D models and approval drawings using Autodesk Inventor and other software
  • Finalize 3D models with core materials, surfaces, edges, oversizing, routings, part numbers, part descriptions, and machining requirements
  • Create cut sheets, cultists, and material summary lists from 3D models
  • Coordinate special projects as required
  • Participate in continuous improvement, Lean, and other cost savings or value-added activities

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Previous engineering experience, preferably in contract furniture

Compensation:
A starting compensation range for this role is $70,000 annually, with relevant salary considerations including candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs, and market factors.
