Key Responsibilities- Assess patient nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive nutrition education and counseling to patients and their families.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest nutrition research and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and safety of our nutrition services.
- Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian in an acute care setting or completion of a coordinated program or dietetic internship.
- Current licensure as a Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) in the state of Florida and registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
