We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Scientist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Lead an independent research project, including designing experiments, executing experiments, and presenting results to the Principal Investigator and other researchers.
- Lab Management: Supervise the operation of the laboratory, including overseeing the use of laboratory funds, supply inventory, and staff activities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate all regulatory and compliance activities for the lab, including animal protocol management and bio-safety activities.
- Data Analysis: Calculate, transcribe, and analyze data using advanced statistical techniques.
- Training and Orientation: Train and orient new staff, including supervising the use of laboratory equipment and procedures.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in biological or physical science.
- Experience: At least two years of experience in a directly related research setting, with at least one year of experience in academic or industry research setting post-undergraduate.
- Skills: High scientific maturity, proficiency with scientific literature, ability to brainstorm and drive new research directions, and strong analytical and organizational skills.
