Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Extrusion Maintenance Technician to join our team at Cornerstone Building Brands. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our extrusion equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform regular preventive maintenance on extrusion equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Operational Support: Assist in the setup and calibration of extrusion machinery, monitor equipment during production runs, and collaborate with production staff to ensure seamless operation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in root cause analysis, recommend and implement process improvements, and stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with production staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Working Conditions

This is a night shift position, working 6pm-6am. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
