We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Metalor Technologies USA Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform remedial repair and installations related to equipment and facilities
- Replace lights and fuses, bend and install electrical conduit, install plumbing fixtures
- Perform simple carpentry and plumbing installations, snow shoveling and plowing
- Maintain grounds and premises as required, including snow removal, painting, cleaning, and hazmat responsibilities
- Operate powered hand tools, volt-ohm meters, and other equipment utilized during maintenance duties
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years of industrial maintenance work experience
- Proven trouble-shooting skills, ability to read electrical meters, and perform simple electrical calculations
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics, and perform other duties as directed
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, work in confined spaces, and work from ladders at a height of 40 feet
- Ability to firmly grip a variety of tools and work within confined spaces
Must be able to comply with all company safety and environmental rules and regulations
