About the Role

Cancer Care Northwest is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Controller/Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, ensuring accuracy through journal entry reviews, quarterly GL reconciliations, and financial analyses.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for managing the month-end reporting cycle, preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements, and creating monthly board presentations.

Additionally, you will assist with yearly budget preparation, oversee all tax filings and reporting, and manage the annual financial statement review conducted by an external CPA firm. Developing tracking mechanisms for and testing payer contracts, preparing monthly financial and production dashboards, and implementing analytical tools to optimize drug purchasing profitability are key responsibilities of the financial analyst side of this position.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
  • Five or more years of accounting experience

It is a preferred an individual have:

  • Health care accounting experience
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license

Salary DOE - $90,758 - $122,523
