The Enterprise Catalog Integration Specialist (Computer & Information Research Scientist)-SME offers strategic oversight, planning, and guidance on the utilization of product-related authoritative, derived, and referential data.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct analysis on innovative technologies and analytics to enhance and standardize logistics data, facilitating predictive logistics, enterprise metrics, and informed decision-making in response to various operational scenarios.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Medical Logistics, or a related discipline.
- 10-15 years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert in Research Science.
- Resume must reflect knowledge, skills, and abilities in the application of logistics data within the context of business processes.
- Proven expertise in product taxonomies and identification, including GTIN, NDC, UNSPSC, NSN, and relevant industry standards.
- Experience with the Defense Logistics Agency Medical Master Catalog is essential.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and DevSecOps is mandatory, along with experience in DoD and/or VA Medical Supply Chain processes.
- Possession of a Secret Security Clearance is required.
- 15 years of experience in DoD Medical Logistics or related IT fields.
- 10 years of experience in DoD Acquisition, including program management roles.
- 10 years of project management experience, focusing on cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
- Demonstrated knowledge of emerging technologies, authoritative data sources, and strategic alignment, alongside familiarity with legacy applications and financial interoperability.
- Evidence of experience in current DoD medical business operations, particularly in automated information systems, is required.
- Experience in integrating and implementing predictive logistics utilizing machine learning and AI techniques is highly desirable.
- Predictive logistics involves advanced management strategies that utilize data analytics and AI to forecast and optimize supply chain operations, aiming to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
