About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician at The Essex, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will work closely with our maintenance team to ensure that our facilities are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manuals to ensure accurate installation and repair of HVAC systems.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Valid HVAC technician certification (i.e. EPA 608 Certification).
  • Heat pump knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HVAC technician.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and operations.
  • Proficient in using HVAC tools and equipment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
