Fabrication Department Responsibilities:
  • Support the fabrication and assembly processes for sheet metal signage.
  • Tasks may include:
  • Setting up and operating machinery for cutting, bending, and straightening sheet metal.
  • Shaping metal using hand tools and pressure techniques.
  • Utilizing welding equipment to connect metal components.
  • Inspecting, assembling, and refining seams and joints of metal surfaces.

Key Duties:
  • Proficient use of basic power and hand tools, including grinders and drills, for sign production and assembly.
  • Assist in the assembly of signage products.
  • Participate in the fabrication of raceways.
  • Complete additional tasks as directed by the production manager.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform basic calculations and measurements as necessary for part production.
  • Ensure proper cleaning and securing of machinery and tools after use.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing setting preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Ability to operate basic power and hand tools and general shop equipment.

Experience Requirements:
  • Relevant experience: 6 months (preferred).
