Job Title: Mammography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing mammography studies and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
  • Conduct mammography studies and maintain production and quality of mammograms
  • Develop mammograms, observe mammogram results, and retake mammograms as required
  • Maintain accurate patient records and understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist
  • ARRT (M) National Certification with registration in mammography
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
