    • Provide guidance, verbal cueing, hands-on assistance, and reminders during Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
    • Serve meals and assist with dining services
    • Supervise the dining room during meals
    • Assist with clean-up after meals
  • Room Care and Maintenance
    • Provide room care, including laundry, making beds, emptying garbage, cleaning bathrooms, and stocking supplies
  • Safety and Security
    • Maintain a safe and secure environment
    • Answer emergency call systems
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Report and record changes in tenant condition and needs on Staffing Notes or to the Facility Nurse
  • Support and Encouragement
    • Encourage tenants to remain as independent as possible
    • Clean and maintain personal hygiene equipment
    • Assist with ambulation, moving, and transporting tenants, including pushing wheelchairs
  • Education and Training
    • Participate in education and in-service opportunities
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Accompany tenants on outings
    • Complete tenant safety/status checks
    • Encourage tenant participation in socialization and activities
    • Perform tasks as assigned in individual service plans
    • Take vital signs as necessary
    • Follow facility policies and procedures
    • Orientation of new tenants to suite/community areas
    • Orientation of new staff members
    • Answer incoming calls
    • Greet guests and provide tours

      • Cleared record according to Illinois Abuse Registry
      • Cleared record according to Illinois State Background Check
      • Provide physical examination signed by physician
      • Provide proof of Certification in Pulmonary Resuscitation
      • Must have the current federally required vaccines or proof of a valid exemption
