Culinary Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Scofield Catering & Management Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items in a timely and sanitary manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare all food items as directed, adhering to our strict quality and safety standards.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and excellence in our dishes.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
• Clean and maintain your station, adhering to good safety and sanitation practices.
• Assist with the cleaning and organization of the kitchen and equipment, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift, maintaining a well-stocked kitchen.
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience as a line cook or in a similar role.
• Food handler certificate (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Work Environment:

This is a part-time position, working 8-hour shifts during the day. Weekend availability is required. The work location is one of our cafes.
