About the Role

As a Private Client Account Manager at Watkins Insurance Group, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, ensuring their satisfaction and revenue growth. This role requires a balance of exceptional customer service skills, strategic placement of new accounts, and cross-selling to existing clients. You will collaborate with Agents who maintain the primary client relationship and engage with Carrier Underwriters, Marketing Reps, and other staff to uphold outstanding service standards for our clients and maintain strong relationships with our carriers.

About You

You are an experienced and licensed insurance professional looking to elevate your career in the dynamic world of high-net-worth personal insurance. You are customer-focused, analytical, passionate about teamwork, and organized. You have excellent oral and written communication skills and are able to listen, get clarification, respond well to questions, participate in meetings, write clearly and informatively, present data effectively, and read and interpret written information.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, understanding their unique insurance needs and providing tailored insurance solutions. Interface with insurance carriers to negotiate coverage, ensure competitive pricing, and stay updated on the latest products and offerings. Oversee the end-to-end process of policy issuance, endorsements, and renewals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Utilize and navigate the agency management system effectively to manage client information, policies, and documentation.

What You Need

An active General Lines P&C license with the Texas Department of Insurance. A minimum of 2 years of experience in personal lines insurance. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), with an aptitude for learning new software and systems. Preferred qualifications include four to five years of personal lines insurance experience, including working with high-net-worth clients, Chartered Private Risk and Insurance Advisor or Certified Personal Risk Manager designations, experience working with high-net-worth carriers, and Applied Epic Experience.
