Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at PIC. As a key member of our farm operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review production schedules and systems to understand farm activities and workflows
  • Create and implement action plans to achieve maintenance department goals
  • Assist in budget development and management, including ordering parts and supplies
  • Maintain inventory levels and assist with CapEx projects
  • Provide technical support and guidance to employees and farm management
  • Assist with demolition and renovation of barns, including roof replacements and penning renovations
  • Develop control systems to decrease resource waste and implement emergency response programs
  • Ensure adherence to company safety, biosecurity, and environmental policies
Requirements
  • Ability to safely and effectively operate small hand tools, hand power tools, and farm machinery
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to adapt to changing plans and priorities
