We are excited to announce new opportunities within our Fleet Maintenance Division. We are currently seeking a Field Service Mechanic to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for traveling to various client locations to effectively and safely maintain a diverse fleet of equipment associated with our operations. This position requires flexibility to assist with different service vehicles as necessary.

Work Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 5 AM to 5 PM
Occasional overnight stays may be required based on the scope of work, with accommodations provided. The primary focus of this position will be on preventative maintenance, tire services, and minor repairs for Class 8 Trucks and Trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform adjustments, alignments, and repairs to rectify vehicle issues.
  • Conduct thorough inspections, test drives, and diagnostic assessments to evaluate vehicle conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state vehicle safety and combustion control standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.
  • Execute preventative maintenance, install upgrades, winterize vehicles, and manage corrosion control to ensure vehicle availability.
  • Adhere to operational guidelines, troubleshoot breakdowns, maintain supplies, and perform preventative maintenance to keep shop equipment functional.
  • Manage inventory and place orders to ensure essential supplies are readily available.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Stay informed on industry advancements through publications, peer discussions, and continuing education.
  • Perform electrical repairs and diagnostics as needed.

  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairs with the latest technology.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Prior experience in the trucking industry is a plus.
