Job Overview

At Amy's Kitchen, we are committed to providing quality products and a safe working environment. We offer a Retainment Bonus of $500 gross after 90 days of employment for employees in good standing, and an additional $750 gross after 180 days.

Key Responsibilities

The essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Executing tasks on the packaging line as directed by the Production Supervisor or Line Lead.
  • Maintaining performance and quality standards across all workstations.
  • Adhering to the guidelines set forth in the employee handbook, safety manual, and GMP booklet.
  • Utilizing equipment and tools safely and responsibly.
  • Reporting any safety, mechanical, or quality issues to the Line Lead or Supervisor promptly.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
  • Being available for overtime during peak seasons or as required by company needs.

Examples of Tasks

As a Food Production Associate, you may be required to perform the following roles:

  • Overwrap Operator: Understand machine operations, setup procedures, and maintain line speeds.
  • Carton Loader: Load products into cartons while ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Case Packer: Pack frozen foods into cases, ensuring proper alignment and quality checks.
  • Case Erector: Assemble cases for packing, ensuring speed and efficiency.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • No prior experience required.
  • Ability to read and understand basic instructions.
  • Basic mathematical skills for measuring and counting.
  • Common sense reasoning to follow detailed instructions.

Physical Requirements

The role involves:

  • Regularly standing and using hands for tasks.
  • Occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Working in environments with moving mechanical parts and varying temperatures.

Work Environment

Employees may encounter moderate noise levels and must adhere to safety protocols at all times.
