About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator Senior to join our Information Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our database systems to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain database systems to meet business requirements
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of database systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve database-related issues
  • Develop and maintain database maintenance scripts to automate tasks
  • Provide expert-level support for database-related issues and provide guidance to junior team members

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in database administration, with 5 years of hands-on experience in IBM Db2 LUW
  • Strong experience in Linux and shell scripting
  • Experience in multi-data center, disaster recovery, and high availability, business continuity
  • Ability to identify and own tuning or maintenance items
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to pinpoint root causes
  • Ability to handle high pressure and meet deadlines
