Job Overview

This role involves fabricating, repairing, and maintaining tools, jigs, and fixtures to support production operations.

As a Precision Machinist Specialist, you will operate precision machinery to produce high-quality parts, read technical drawings, and collaborate with the production team to address tooling needs and issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate precision machining equipment (e.g., lathes, mills, grinders) to fabricate, modify, and repair tools and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Inspect finished tools and equipment to guarantee they meet specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe tool room environment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve tooling-related issues and improve overall efficiency.
Requirements
  • Experience with precision machining equipment and strong attention to detail are essential for this role.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is crucial for success in this position.
  • Previous experience in a tool room or machine shop environment is highly preferred.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
