Purpose & Scope:

The physician will be a key member of the healthcare team at VHC Health, working collaboratively with other staff to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients. The scope of practice for each physician is defined through the health system's credentialing and privileging committee.

The physician will support objectives, budget, and performance metrics at the individual level, as well as implement quality control standards, risk management, and compliance programs. The role of a physician at VHC Health is to provide quality clinical care to patients in a timely manner, meeting the needs of our patients.

Education:

A Doctorate degree from an accredited medical school is required for this position.

Experience:

One year of medical/surgical experience is required for this role.

Certification/Licensure:

Licensed to Practice Medicine by the Virginia Department of Health Professions is required.
