Job Description

**Lead Fraud Analyst at Thread Bank**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced fraud analyst to join our Fraud Operations team at Thread Bank, a leading fintech startup revolutionizing the banking industry.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct in-depth investigations into complex financial crime cases, collaborating with internal teams and law enforcement agencies to identify and prevent fraudulent activities.
  • Monitor high-risk transactions and customer behavior to detect and prevent financial cybercrime.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify emerging threats and propose measures to prevent financial fraud.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate financial risks, communicating findings to business leaders and stakeholders.
  • Streamline fraud operational workflows and provide recommendations for improving customer authentication policies and procedures.
  • Organize and analyze large datasets to ensure effective investigative steps are taken to prevent financial crime.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of experience in fraud analysis, risk management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SQL, with experience in data analysis and visualization.
  • Knowledge of financial cybercrime trends, including money laundering, identity theft, and credit card fraud.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented, with a passion for preventing financial crime and protecting customers.
