We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Racing and Sports Teller to join our team at Fremont Hotel & Casino. As a Racing and Sports Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the accuracy of all racing and sports-related transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, answering questions and resolving issues related to racing and sports wagers.
  • Racing and Sports Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of racing and sports rules, regulations, and procedures, including understanding of various types of sports wagers and limits on all propositions.
  • Transaction Processing: Accurately process and verify racing and sports transactions, including retrieving and maintaining accuracy of bank records.
  • Computer System Utilization: Effectively utilize the racing and sports computer system to generate tickets and cash winning tickets.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of tickets sold, customer information, and tax and gaming regulation records.
  • Communication: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and other team members.
Requirements
  • Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience: Experience in sports operations or a related field is preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Ability to operate CMS and New Wave computer software systems.
  • Language: Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate in English.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
