Key Responsibilities
- Oversee facility census by engaging in physician outreach, conducting sales visits, and networking with community organizations and hospitals to drive patient referrals and admissions.
- Assess and coordinate admissions with relevant center personnel.
- Meet facility census targets and annual budget goals through on-site sales efforts at hospitals and physician practices to convert referrals into admissions.
- Build relationships, deliver exceptional customer service, and inform referral sources about the services our centers provide.
- Formulate sales strategies to optimize admissions and expand market share in designated business areas.
- Stay informed about current regulations governing Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance reimbursements.
- Participate in industry trade shows and business development initiatives as assigned.
- Conduct admission screenings for potential patients, assessing their level of care, required services, equipment needs, and insurance coverage as necessary. Ensure timely clinical acceptance.
- Deliver innovative and responsible healthcare by creating and implementing new ideas and processes that enhance systems and achieve outstanding results.
Qualifications
- Required: Secondary Education Degree (Associates or Bachelor's).
- Preferred: Nursing degree.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare business development.
- Preferred: Experience in managed care/insurance.
- Preferred: Familiarity with public and commercial payer sources.
- Must be qualified, compassionate, and committed to excellence in your work.
