Job Summary: Novant Health is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Tech II-Certified to join our hospital pharmacy team, delivering exceptional medication management across all dimensions of care. The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in pharmacy skills, including medication distribution, sterile compounding, and inventory management. Proficiency in equipment and software is essential, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: Fill and deliver medication orders for various age groups under pharmacist supervision, perform non-sterile compounding and repackaging, answer phone calls, process cart fills, and collect medication histories from patients. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred. Minimum two years of experience in acute care, with at least one year of sterile compounding experience. Current registry with applicable State Board(s) of pharmacy required. PTCB or NHA Certification within 60 days of hire, or proof of enrollment in pharmacy school/FPGEE/FPGEC. A minimum of one relevant specialized certificate/certification from approved vendors such as PTCB, BPTS, or NPTA. Estimated salary: $42,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
