Sisson Contracting, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Pipelayer to join our team in underground utility construction. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing pipes for storm, sanitary, water, and fire line utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install pipes for various utility systems, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Set manholes and storm boxes, and connect pipes to manholes, while maintaining proper bedding, backfilling, and trench leveling.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors to ensure efficient project execution.
- Lead by example in the field, adhering to safety procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals, utilizing excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Previous experience with storm drain and sewer installation is a significant advantage.
- Work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule of 10 hours per day, Monday through Thursday, and 8 hours on Fridays.
