Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician to join our team at Raghunand Sastry M.D. in East San Jose. As a key member of our back office staff, you will be responsible for performing visual field tests and OCTs, assisting the doctor with patient examinations, and supporting in-office procedures and surgeries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform visual field tests and OCTs with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assist the doctor with patient examinations, including preparing patients for procedures and surgeries
  • Support in-office procedures and surgeries, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and test results
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a medical office setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, doctors, and other staff members
  • Ability to travel to our second office location in Morgan Hill
  • Spanish speaking skills a plus, but not required
