Job Summary

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of expertise in inspection processes. As a Master Inspector, you will be responsible for performing advanced inspection tasks at our facility, utilizing a variety of tooling and measurement equipment. You will also be required to troubleshoot inspection flow processes, using problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect parts before cleaning and non-destructive testing processes.
  • Bench inspect parts after cleaning and non-destructive testing processes.
  • Provide complete and accurate documentation to support engine build.
  • Meet production/inspection goals and objectives for the facility.
  • Complete and review technical documentation, including fits and clearances, engine inspection reports, and SAP.
  • Enter and reconcile engine shop visit reports.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • A&P license, military training, technical training, or jet engine inspection experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A&P license or two years of relevant experience.
  • Turbine engine overhaul, inspection, and repair experience, preferred in one or more of the following disciplines: disassembly, inspection, assembly.
  • Ability to identify and resolve configuration and compatibility issues.
  • CORE basics and active CORE activity preferred (internal candidates only).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.

Additional Information:

  • This position is considered safety-sensitive in accordance with FAA guidelines.
  • Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing as a pre-employment contingency and also subject to ongoing random testing as an employee per FAA's regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
