The Nurse-Resident role is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a strong foundation in nursing principles and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a Nurse-Resident, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients in the Surgical Telemetry unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
- Implement and manage patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing education to patients and families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care, effective communication, and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices and policies.
- Engage in ongoing education and professional development, staying current with the latest research, technologies, and clinical guidelines.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing program approved by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing.
- Licensed to practice as a RN in South Carolina.
- BLS required.
