Job Summary:
As a Server at Marriott, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our guests in the hotel's dining areas. This position requires a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and present menus and daily specials in a friendly and attentive manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and drinks, ensuring guests have everything they need throughout their dining experience.
- Check on guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and beverage.
- Clear tables and provide dessert menus and coffee as needed.
- Process payment transactions and thank guests as they depart.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tables and kitchen areas.
Requirements:
- Previous serving experience is preferred, especially in a hotel or fine dining setting.
- Knowledge of food service regulations and best practices is essential.
- A friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine desire to provide hospitality is required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills are necessary to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
