Job Summary

RJW Logistics is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to join our team. As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will be responsible for conducting cycle counts and bin location audits, assisting in researching and reconciling inventory discrepancies, and working with the Inventory Supervisor/Manager in any inventory-related functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Perform physical counts of inventory items to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Count and reconcile randomly chosen or chosen part numbers and/or locations on a daily basis to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Data Entry: Accurately input inventory control data to ensure inventory integrity and maintain accurate records.
  • Documentation: Complete necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on-time to ensure compliance with inventory processes and procedures.
  • Inventory Analysis: Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommend remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
  • Equipment Operation: Use motorized equipment, including Order Picker, Sit-Down Forklift, and Stand-Up Reach Truck, to perform inventory-related tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in Inventory Control and warehouse environment.
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. PC literate with experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access Database.
  • Certifications: Forklift certification a plus.
