Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Optician to join our team at Sam's Club in Annapolis, MD. As an Optician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with purchasing decisions, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking merchandise, setting up displays, and organizing product displays.
  • Operate hardware such as cash registers and related equipment, process member purchases, and assist with payments, returns, and exchanges.
  • Sell optical products and services by assisting members with purchasing decisions, measuring, adjusting, and repairing frames and lenses.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
