Position Summary for RN ER PRN Evening
This position entails providing direct clinical care to patients. The registered nurse will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and executing clinical care for assigned patients during each shift, while also overseeing unit-level responsibilities. The role includes supervising staff to whom appropriate care is delegated. The nurse will work in collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and suitable nursing care, maintain clinical staff competency, and manage resources effectively related to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain an active and current registered nurse license in the state of practice.
- Exhibit effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Serve as a role model and advocate for the nursing profession.
Educational Requirements
Required: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelor's or Master's degree).
Certification Requirements
Required: Must hold a current license, certification, or registration to practice as mandated by state law or policy. CPR certification is also required.
