Production Manager Role

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our production line, ensuring the highest levels of efficiency, quality, and safety. This includes implementing and maintaining Lean Manufacturing principles, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and managing a team of production staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food safety, OSHA, FDA, PCQI, GFSI, bakery production, and Quality Control.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the production process, ensuring that products are manufactured on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including food safety, OSHA, FDA, PCQI, and GFSI.
- Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing principles to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Manage and develop a team of production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high performance.
- Coordinate with other departments such as Supply Chain, Quality, and Maintenance to ensure smooth operation and to address any issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain production schedules and manage production resources to meet these schedules.
- Regularly report on production performance and progress towards targets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a production management role within the Manufacturing industry.
- Fluent in both Spanish and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience with food safety, OSHA, FDA, PCQI, GFSI, and bakery production.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Process Improvement methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Salary:
$90,000 - $120,000 per year.
