As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our Hematology Oncology clinic. You will work closely with our medical team to deliver compassionate and personalized care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

* Assist physicians and RNs in the care of patients
* Safely and accurately mix and administer chemotherapeutic agents to patients as ordered by AON physicians
* Assist in obtaining lab samples and perform technical laboratory procedures with accuracy and precision
* Administer shots to patients after complete symptom assessment
* Responsible for patient assessment and documentation in OncoEMR
* Educate patients and family about medications, side effects, and planned treatment course
* Interact with patients and family in a caring and professional manner
* Assist with inventory and re-stocking medical supplies
* Meetings: Attend annual Safety / OSHA training meetings and all mandatory staff meetings as necessary

Requirements:

* Appropriate state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse with experience in IV therapy in clinic or hospital
* Current CPR and BLS certification
* Fluency in the English language as well as excellent oral and written communication skills
* Valid driver's license in the resident state to travel to clinics
