Position Summary:We are currently in search of a Facility Maintenance Technician who possesses both mechanical aptitude and exceptional cleaning skills. In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities, which includes offices, restrooms, break areas, and production spaces.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong work ethic, dedicated to maintaining high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain regular and punctual attendance as it is crucial for individual and team effectiveness.
- Accurately and timely enter data into the maintenance management system.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform cleaning duties across various areas including offices, lobbies, restrooms, break rooms, and the production floor.
- Responsibilities include waste disposal, restocking supplies, sanitizing surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness of appliances and floors.
- Address drainage issues and ensure proper functioning.
- Utilize cleaning chemicals safely, adhering to guidelines and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and place orders as necessary.
- Maintain the exterior of the facility, including landscaping and snow removal as required.
- Follow the cleaning schedule as directed and utilize clean tools for all tasks.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with 0-1 years of relevant experience. Basic math skills and proficiency in both verbal and written communication are essential. A valid U.S. driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is also necessary.
Preferred Experience:At least one year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
Safety and Communication:Consistently prioritize safety by promoting safe work practices. Communicate effectively to relay information and ensure understanding.
Physical Requirements:The role demands the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform various physical tasks. Candidates must be able to navigate both even and uneven surfaces and work in varying temperatures.
